Nigeria’s First Female Doctor Dies At 89

Dr Marienne Abimbola Silva (mother to popular nollywood actress Joke Silver) has died peacefully on Sunday morning in Lagos . She was 89. Silva is survived by screen queen , Joke Silva, Bisi Silva, Jumoke Daodu and Lape Silva. Dr Abimbola Silva was the first female medical doctor in Nigeria .
