Football’s worst kept secret was done today following hours of talks between United chiefs and Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes.
Mourinho has agreed a three-year deal worth around £10m a year to take charge.
On top of that, he will pocket a staggering £5m bonus if he makes Manchester United kings of Europe again.
Mourinho arrives with Rui Faria in tow as his trusted assistant.
