Fear of violence: APC primary may hold at Army Barracks

THERE are speculations that the Saturday governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) may take place in one of the Army barracks in the state rather than the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium for security reasons. 


Vanguard learnt that those suggesting that the venue is shifted to the barracks were fearing that the violent incident which took place in Bayelsa during the botched governorship primaries of APC may take place in Edo if urgent steps are not taken to avert it. However, Vanguard learnt that majority of the party members were insisting that the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium should remain the venue because it is spacious for such an event.
