Ahmed Abdulfatah, Governor of Kwara State, has announced his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Announcing his defection on Tuesday evening, minutes after Senate President Bukola Saraki announced his resignation from the APC, Abdulfatah wrote: “Following due consultations and in response to calls by major stakeholders in the state, I have moved to the PDP because the APC can longer serve as a platform for achieving the aspirations and expectations of my people.”(SaharaReporters)
