According to posts on social media Ibrahim Akibu Jafar was arrested two days ago in Niger State and is to be held till Thursday because of a post he made on the judiciary system of the State in which he aired his opinions on a lot of issues, Youths have since kick started a social media campaign #freeakibu, According to some of their posts the social media bill is yet to be fully approved and as such they do not see why he should be arrested for airing out his view. Before his arrest Akibu was an advocate for Good governance and right leadership.
