"Their counterparts are focused on researches and grants" Nigerians react as LASU opens bakery to increase its Internally generated Revenue (IGR)

Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react after the Lagos State University (LASU) opened a bakery and began producing bread to increase its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR). 

Via its official Twitter handle, LASU hailed its Vice Chancellor for the initiative and said LASU bread will henceforth be the only bread on campus. 

 

Reacting, Nigerians questioned the institution for chasing out other bread competitors in the institution to have a monopoly. 

Others pointed out that universities abroad are doing bigger things to increase their IGR.
